Drawing upon the experience of the Forest of Avon, which supported the planting of over a million trees and management of hundreds of hectares of woodland, the Forest of Avon Trust offers a range of services: * A free, without obligation, site visit to discuss options and a summary report of options in the light of current grants; * Support in registering land with the RPA; * Preparation of a management plan for existing woodlands, usually fully funded by Forestry Commission Woodland Planning Grant, which we apply for; * Preparation and submission of Woodland Management Grant and Woodland Improvement Grant Applications; * Drawing up a scheme for a new woodland and preparing and submitting Woodland Creation and Farm Woodland Scheme grant applications; and * Acting as an agent with respect to any of the above, including overseeing planting contracts.
